Job Description

As a Learning and Development Consultant from an E-learning background, your role will involve leading the L&D strategy and roadmap aligned with the business plan. You will be responsible for planning L&D initiatives and training programs in collaboration with HR and business leadership. Your key responsibilities will include ideating, developing, and implementing a world-class E-Learning system, as well as preparing the overall training budget and tracking budget spend vs plan. You will need to identify opportunities for improvement in learning design and delivery, design learning policies and procedures, and ensure a robust training plan and calendar for both direct and indirect staff. Additionally, you will facilitate the identification of skills gaps and learning needs across the entire employee base to meet the business objectives. You will oversee the design and development of learning content, including training materials and e-Learning courses, while building partnerships with external academies/institutions for program design and development. Key areas of focus will be proactively planning training requirements and ensuring the right skills are utilized in the appropriate teams. Qualifications Required: - MBA/Masters degree or equivalent with specialization in HR from Tier 1 institutes, OR B.E/B.Tech from Top Engineering colleges + MBA/Masters from Tier 2 institutes Experience Required: - Minimum 8+ years of overall experience across HR - Minimum 6 years of experience in a relevant/related industry and domain - Good exposure to E-Learning ideation to implementation Skills Required: - Good understanding of new trends in L&D for software companies - Working knowledge of contemporary learning methodologies - End-to-end Training & Development Expertise - Ability to identify performance gaps and convert them into training needs - Change/Knowledge Management - Training Metrics - New practices in T&D - Business Orientation - Evaluating Learning Impact - Knowledge of various learning methodologies/tools - Knowledge of training evaluation frameworks - Good written and verbal communication skills Behavioral Competencies: - Decision Making - People management skills - Negotiation Skills - Leadership - Persuading Skills - Team Building Company Additional Details: The company operates in the IT/Computers-Software industry and is currently hiring for the role of Learning and Development Lead.
