• Perform Product cost out opportunity in a target-oriented manner through
VAVE methodology and cost analytics
• Work with cross functional teams to identify the Products for cost out, analyze
and execute the Cost reduction VAVE projects
• Experience with design tools - DFMEA, Pugh Matrix. etc• Knowledge on ROI, Pareto, cost saving calculation, cost out concepts, RCA • Knowledge on Competitive Bench Marking, Tear down• Able to generate ideas on tear down products to reduce the cost of products • Capability to develop test plans, reliability plans• Knowledge on costing tools & CAD Tools, Apriori/ DFMA/Costimator/ NPV/
TCO / SolidWorks, CREO, AutoCAD etc.
• Knowledge on Electromechanical parts and their integration• Able to lead and manage the team• Be the single point of contact to the customer by owning complete product
cost out ownership
• Basic knowledge on electrical and electronics • 10+ Yrs of experience in working with Products and its sub parts, component level Design and Development
