As a Lead US HR Compliance and Audit specialist, your role involves ensuring the company's HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with federal and state laws and regulations. You will collaborate with internal HR teams and external auditors to guarantee legal compliance. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting regular reviews of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. - Maintaining updated knowledge of federal and state labor laws such as EEOC, VETS, AAP, and SOC/SOX. - Developing and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with HR teams to address compliance gaps. - Monitoring and reporting on compliance-related metrics, audit findings, and corrective actions. To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills: - Minimum 5 years of experience in HR compliance and audit or a related field. - In-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
