Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Supervise foundation casting, tower erection, and conductor stringing
Monitor progress against project timelines and milestonesCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams

Technical Oversight

Review engineering drawings, route surveys, and tower spotting
Ensure proper sagging, tensioning, and clearances as per standardsConduct inspections and ensure adherence to IS/IEC specifications

Quality & Safety

Implement Field Quality Plans (FQP) and ensure compliance
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Proto tests, and Destruction testsEnforce safety protocols during line stringing work and heavy equipment operations

Regulatory & Site Coordination

Manage Right-of-Way (ROW) issues and land acquisition
Liaise with forest/wildlife authorities for clearancesEnsure documentation and reporting as per regulatory norms

Commissioning & Handover

Support final testing and energization of the transmission line
Prepare handover documentation and punch listsAssist in post-commissioning troubleshooting and stabilization
