As a Lead QA Engineer in Software Testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software for medical device products. You will lead a team of QA engineers, develop and implement testing strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Experience in end-to-end verification for medical device projects in the healthcare domain is essential. Skill Sets: Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Design Techniques Various Testing Types and Tools Azure, JIRA, ALM Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills DICOM and Medical Device Testing Windows Key Responsibilities: 7-10 years of experience in the software industry with a focus on testing. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance to ensure effective testing processes. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform medical device product risk assessments and measure implementation. Identify, document, and manage software defects, collaborating with development teams to prioritize resolutions. Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Proven experience leading testing teams, including manual, automation, and performance engineers. Conduct regression testing to maintain ongoing software stability. Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and tools. Continuously improve and optimize testing processes to enhance software quality and reliability. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance. Strong leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB or other relevant certifications. Experience in the healthcare domain. Familiarity with various Software Development Methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and V-model. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Proven track record in test automation of medical device software using tools like TestComplete, Squish, or any open-source alternatives. Experience with a scripting language (C#, JavaScript, or Python) is desirable.
