Are you ready to make an impact at DTCC Do you want to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic and encouraging team, and receive investment in your professional developmentAt DTCC, we are at the forefront of innovation in the financial markets We're committed to helping our employees grow and succeed We believe that you have the skills and aim to make a real impact We develop a growing internal community and are committed to creating a workplace that looks like the world that we serve, Pay and Benefits: Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive Comprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location Pension / Retirement benefits Paid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and well-being, DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a day unique to each team or employee), The impact you will have in this role: Lead Test Engineer will be responsible for developing test plans and implementing those plans against the corresponding test procedures He should also be accountable for the development of automation scripts in Selenium java and writing SQL queries What You'll Do: Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues, Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data, Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience Talents Needed for Success: Minimum of6 years of related experience Experience in Selenium Java with good hands on experience Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components, Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries, Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes), Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium, Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team, Preferably from Capital Market domain We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment Please contact us to request accommodation,
