Lead Test Engineer

Role Overview: Everis is seeking a candidate to join their team as a UAT Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive UAT plans, collaborate with stakeholders, identify defects, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and continuously improve UAT processes. The role requires participation in project meetings, analysis of user experience, and software usability from a testing perspective. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive UAT plans based on project specifications and user requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and develop test scenarios reflecting real-world usage. - Identify and document defects and issues found during testing, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. - Create detailed reports on test progress, results, and issues for stakeholders and project management. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, facilitating knowledge sharing and skill development. - Continuously improve UAT processes by analyzing previous projects and implementing best practices. - Participate in project meetings to provide input on user experience and software usability from a testing perspective. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - Hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on user acceptance testing. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. - Proficiency in test management tools and automated testing frameworks. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of DB testing is an added advantage.
