Lead Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at Gurucul, your role will involve writing technically robust white papers, datasheets, blogs, product documentation, sales/SE training guides, RFP/RFI responses, technology integration spec sheets, website content, and webinars. You will be responsible for developing thought leadership technical content and messaging by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and engaging with channels and clients. Key Responsibilities: - Develop engaging communications that effectively convey key messages - Translate technical information and complex cybersecurity concepts into user-friendly communications to drive awareness and adoption of Gurucul products and solutions - Write, review, and edit content for various digital platforms and marketing requests - Plan and create documentation to assist customers in understanding Gurucul's products and solutions - Maintain consistent writing style standards and guidelines - Gain expertise in a specific product and recommend best practices for its use - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the Documentation team to grasp technology and audience needs for delivering high-quality products - Generate documentation based on customer scenarios and use cases - Utilize user feedback to identify content gaps and propose new communication strategies for increased awareness Qualifications Required: - Degree or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience - Technical writing experience in cybersecurity topics, particularly SIEM, DLP, IAM, Security Analytics, SOAR, risk management, big data / data lake, etc. - Knowledge of machine learning in the context of cybersecurity - 5-8 years of experience in developing technical documentation, preferably for enterprise software or SaaS products - Ability to research and produce software documentation for complex products - Experience collaborating with design, product, support, and engineering teams to create documentation for technical audiences - Proficiency in tools for managing and publishing documentation - Strong attention to detail - Experience in remote work with a distributed team In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the technical documentation for cutting-edge cybersecurity products and solutions.
