As the Lead Technical Analyst, SAP BASIS & DB Administrator, your primary responsibilities include: - Interpret business requirements to design and develop high-quality solutions adhering to proper design principles - Design solutions that deliver exact functionality, performance, robustness, and systems integration expectations - Strive to deliver high-quality solutions within set timeframes and key performance indicators - Provide ongoing support of the VISY SAP environment, addressing production issues and implementing solutions as needed - Respond to incidents and problems through technical solutions in line with service level agreements - Identify areas for improvement and recommend standards, tools, and new technologies - Engage with customers to facilitate and determine business requirements Experience & Qualifications: Mandatory: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field - Proficiency in managing SAP systems on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms - Solid understanding of system monitoring tools and performance tuning - Excellent knowledge of SAP administration in solutions like ERP, BI, Solman, Gateway, HANA DB, etc. - Familiarity with different databases and backup/recovery processes in SAP environment - In-depth understanding of SAP Basis components and cloud-based SAP environments - Collaboration with cross-functional teams for system integrations and enhancements - Strong documentation skills and effective testing/quality control management Key Technical Skills: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration across different SAP solutions - Database administration in MSSQL and SAP HANA, including upgrades and tuning - Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related software products - Daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems - Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution for critical SAP systems - Automation of system administration tasks and familiarity with scripting languages - Knowledge on BTP services, SAP IDM, and security tools for regular security audits - Manage user roles and permissions on SAP BTP and implement a comprehensive security strategy - Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities for SAP system protection - Business process review and re-engineering with expertise in using ServiceNow (SNOW) or similar ticketing solutions - Project management skills and knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices in SAP environments Certifications in admin-related SAP solutions are preferred for this role.
