Lead Solutions Engineer

As a Verification Engineer at Cadence, your role will involve understanding and reviewing design specifications, and developing verification strategies, test plans, and coverage plans. You will be responsible for developing constrained random verification environments and verification components, writing tests, sequences, functional coverage, and assertions to meet verification goals, as well as developing C-based test cases for SOC verification. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and review design specifications to develop verification strategies and test plans - Develop constrained random verification environments and verification components - Write tests, sequences, functional coverage, and assertions to meet verification goals - Develop C-based test cases for SOC verification Qualifications Required: - Strong background in functional verification fundamentals, environment planning, and test plan generation - Experience with System Verilog and UVM based functional verification environment development - Good knowledge of verilog, vhdl, C, C++, Perl, and Python - Expertise in AMBA protocols (AXI/AHB/APB) and familiarity with USB, PCIE, Ethernet, DDR, LPDDR, or similar protocols - Proficiency in using version control software and load sharing software Additional Details: Cadence highly values prior experience with their tools and flows, as well as familiarity with ARM/CPU architectures. Experience in developing C-based test cases for SOC verification, assembly language programming, and knowledge of protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, and JTAG are desirable skills.
