Lead - Software Development Engineering (Angular)

Role & responsibilities

• Lead, mentor & manage front end team members.
• Owning end to end responsibility of Dashboards/CMS development, deployment and monitoring phases
• Work as part of a team developing web using Agile methodology.
• Evaluate requirements and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured development strategies.
• Writing efficient, clean and maintained code.
• Integrating APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.
• Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of CMS & web.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate development activities.
• Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.
• Collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers and QA teams.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Perform code reviews.
• Setting KPIs and other metrics to measure team performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Prior experience working on consumer-facing products

6+years of experience creating high-performance Dashboards / CMS / web applications using Angular 8+

Passionate about frontend development and writing readable and efficient code

Expert level development skills in HTML5, CSS3 & JS & can rightly judge/implement solutions to complex problems

You have hands on experience in cache management

You have experience building a product using a mainstream library or framework.

Proficient understanding of ES5 / ES6, JQuery

Solid understanding of API Integration

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Good knowledge of server side rendering using template engine

Experience on debugging UI and web service calls.

Good understanding of SASS, Grunt

Must have used GIT (Source version control)

Good understanding of analytics tools such as google analytics, Clevertap, etc.

Solid understanding of release management

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivery high-quality results

Experience working with databases

Familiarity with automated testing tools including Selenium, Jasmine, and Karma

Deep understanding of browser internal working

Experience working on website speed optimization

Experience integrating payment gateways

Experience working on AWS

Good understanding of SEO principles
