Lead Network Engineer

As a Sr. Network Engineer / Lead Network Engineer at Systems Inc., you will play a vital role in managing, operating, and supporting the global network infrastructure of the organization. Your responsibilities will include operational support, troubleshooting, implementing changes, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple regions. You must have hands-on expertise with various technologies such as Palo Alto Firewalls, SilverPeak SD-WAN, Prisma SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, and Catalyst series switches. Your role will involve managing and supporting the global network infrastructure, providing operational support and troubleshooting for various network components, administering LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center components, and performing incident, problem, and change management aligned with ITIL best practices. Additionally, you will work closely with global teams to implement network upgrades, migrations, integrations, manage firewall rules, security policies, VPN tunnels, support wireless networks, ensure network monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, lead and mentor junior engineers, and document network configurations and procedures. Being a Sr. Network Engineer / Lead Network Engineer, you will participate in on-call and rotational shift support to ensure 24x7 global operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and support the global network infrastructure across offices in APAC, EMEA, and North America - Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma SD-WAN, SilverPeak, Cisco Catalyst, and Meraki networks - Administer and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center network components - Perform incident, problem, and change management aligned with ITIL best practices - Review and execute Change Requests (CRs) with minimal business disruption - Work closely with global teams to implement network upgrades, migrations, and integrations - Manage firewall rules, security policies, and VPN tunnels ensuring compliance with standards - Support wireless networks (Meraki, Aruba) and troubleshoot access-related issues - Ensure network monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning - Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and escalation support - Document network diagrams, configurations, processes, and procedures Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of hands-on experience in global enterprise network operations - Strong expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma SD-WAN, SilverPeak SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Meraki switches, wireless technologies, routing protocols, VLANs, and network monitoring tools - Experience in firewall rule reviews, policy audits, and security compliance - Experience working in financial services/investment banking preferred - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across global teams Please note the certifications mentioned in the job description are mandatory (CCNA, CCNP) and preferred (CCIE, Palo Alto Networks Certification, Aruba Certification, ITIL Foundation).
