Lead - Mergers and Acquisitions

As a Lead in Mergers and Deal Sourcing & Execution, you will be responsible for actively sourcing, evaluating, and executing M&A and investment opportunities in the D2C and consumer brand space. You will lead and manage the due diligence process, providing advisory services and ensuring a thorough assessment of potential deals. Additionally, you will develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support valuation and deal structuring. Your role will also involve creating compelling presentations in PowerPoint to communicate deal rationale, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless deal execution and post-merger integration. Furthermore, you will work with the leadership teams of portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and support to help them scale. The ideal candidate for this position should have 4-8 years of experience with a consulting firm focused on due diligence and advisory. Candidates with prior M&A exposure in investment banking or corporate development post their diligence experience will be preferred. A CA or CA+MBA Finance credential is required for this role. Industry knowledge in the D2C, Retail, or E-commerce sectors is preferred, along with a strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated entrepreneurial drive with a disciplined, focused approach to work.
