Lead Mech Design Engr

ead mechanical design engineer is responsible for design and simulation of mechanical components. Candidate should have a broad understanding of the components design for mechanical strength or heat transfer or flow. Lead engineer should closely work with other engineers, review the technical deliverables, mentor, and coach junior engineers, provide oversight on the quality of technical deliverables, review project cost and schedule estimates to be competitive to global standards, lead and represent the team in the design reviews. Lead engineer should be an advocate of technology trends in the relevant field, should closely collaborate with wide engineering community such as Fellows, Product Chiefs, Project engineering and Certification experts to define and outline the engineering activities in the preliminary and detailed design phase of propulsion engines or auxiliary power units.

esponsibilities includes:

• esponsible for design and simulation of mechanical components using tools like Ansys or StarCCM or Fine Turbo or AxCent. R
• esponsible for all technical requirements, provide estimate of the efforts and partner with engineering manager and team to define the schedule and cost. R
• esponsible for the deliverables for conceptual or preliminary or detailed design reviews. E
• stablish best practices, lessons learnt, and design knowledge management and author CGPs R
• esponsible to drive growth and innovation by following technology trends, generate new ideas, proof concepts for technology insertion, mentor and guide junior engineers. R
• esponsible for technical decision making, including, without limitation, coordinating technical requirements with relevant stakeholders, customers, and advising leadership and customers on all technical aspects and issues to achieve all technical requirements. C
• oordinates with peers and program PEs to ensure overall program success. C
• reates an environment where individual and team accomplishments are valued. Intellectually challenges using innovation and creativity. A
• ctively participate in external forums, publish whitepapers, and represent the organization, influence the eco system in the best interests of organization T

OU MUST HAVE B

• achelor / master’s degree in mechanical / automotive/ aerospace engineering with 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in finite element simulation OR computation fluid dynamics simulation OR heat transfer simulation of mechanical components. C
• andidate must be an Indian Citizen.
