Job Title: Lead Landscape Architect
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Job Purpose
To lead the conceptual design and strategic direction of landscape architecture projects for Gamlaa Bioscapes. This role will be responsible for developing innovative and sustainable landscape concepts, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of design and execution across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of landscape concepts from initial ideation to detailed design, ensuring alignment with client vision and project goals
- Direct and mentor a team of landscape architects and designers, fostering creativity, technical excellence, and collaborative problem-solving
- Oversee all phases of project delivery, including site analysis, conceptual design, master planning, and presentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape solutions into broader project frameworks.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and external agencies, acting as the primary point of contact for landscape matters.
- Ensure all projects meet technical, regulatory, and sustainability standards, incorporating best practices in landscape architecture.
- Drive innovation in landscape design, staying updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient delivery and profitability
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio in conceptual and master planning.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading teams and managing complex projects
- Advanced proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of sustainable design practices, local regulations, and ecological principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
