As a Lead Software Engineer (Java) at our company based in Ahmedabad, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team working on object-oriented application development using Java. You will play a key role in the software development life cycle, from requirement analysis to implementation, testing, and maintenance in an Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing functional requirements, troubleshooting code issues, collaborating with other team members, and delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment to develop object-oriented applications using Java - Participate in the complete software development life cycle, following Agile methodology - Analyze functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues using Java IDE and other tools - Collaborate with developers and quality assurance engineers to enhance web applications - Upgrade and maintain existing applications by performing development tasks - Deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations - Communicate technical information clearly and provide efficient solutions to problems - Develop code examples and patterns for team consumption - Implement solutions based on technical documentation and coding standards - Apply business rules, software specifications, and designs provided by the technical lead to complete assigned tasks Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology - Proficiency in SQL, Java, and JavaScript programming - Experience with Web Application and Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle) - Functional understanding of database structure and relational databases - Knowledge of J2EE Architecture and deployment procedures - Proficiency in Java Programming Language (Oracle Java Certified preferred) - Experience with the Spring Framework - Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery - Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools - Strong analytical skills for requirements understanding and design production - Testing and Quality Control capabilities - Prior experience with workflow or data transaction solutions preferred - Familiarity with technologies like git, svn, Wildfly, and Docker preferred - Experience with JSP, JSF, Struts preferred - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Join us in creating innovative software solutions that delight our customers and contribute to the success of our team.
