Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Instrument Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems and will lead a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on instrumentation equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all operations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new instrumentation systems.
Provide technical training and support to junior technicians and staff.
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in the system.
Participate in project planning and execution as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems.
Proficient in the use of calibration and diagnostic tools for instrumentation.
Strong knowledge of process control systems and industrial automation.
Experience with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
