We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, API Testing, and Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases across web and API layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, UI, and cross-browser testing.
• Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Debug automation failures and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Java (strong programming skills)
• Selenium WebDriver
• API Testing (REST/SOAP, REST Assured, Postman, etc.)
• Playwright (Java/TypeScript-based automation)

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
