Role description

Job Title: Performance Test Engineer

Mandatory Skills:

Performance Testing using Apache JMeter
Experience with performance, load, stress, and endurance testing
Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications, databases, and infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance test scripts.
Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks in applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to optimize system performance.
Define performance test strategy, workload models, and benchmarks aligned with business and technical requirements.
Monitor and analyze system metrics, logs, and performance trends using APM and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
Prepare detailed performance test reports, summarizing results, findings, and optimization recommendations.
Participate in CI/CD integration of performance tests to enable continuous performance validation.

Required Skill Set & Tools:

Performance Testing Tools: Apache JMeter
Monitoring / APM Tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
CI/CD Tools (Preferred): Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
Scripting / Programming (Preferred): Groovy, Python, or Shell scripting
