Lead Front-End Engineer

As a Technical Lead - Staff Software Developer at Vena Solutions in Indore, you will play a crucial role in leading the engineering team to deliver high-quality product improvements for our cloud-native SaaS product. Here's what you will be responsible for: - Leading day-to-day engineering team operations to ensure impactful product improvements and codebase quality enhancements - Collaborating with Software Architects to lead system design for major changes in alignment with software architecture strategy - Solving technical challenges and enabling team members to contribute to their resolution - Working closely with Product Managers to ensure achievable plans, on-time deliveries, and addressing team resource gaps - Reviewing team epics and projects critically, ensuring proper breakdown, prioritization, and team understanding - Mentoring team members in coding best practices through pairing, code reviews, etc. - Ensuring long-term codebase health and prioritizing tech debt in quarterly and Sprint Planning - Advocating for development initiatives, best practices, and coding standards - Potentially acting as a Guild/Chapter Lead to drive functional improvements across the engineering department Qualifications required for this role include: - 8-12 years of software development experience - 1+ year of experience leading a software development team - Mastery in modern JavaScript development, including React, and core web principles - Experience with JavaScript/Typescript toolchains, unit testing frameworks like Jest, and build tools like Webpack - Proficiency in unit testing with Jest and React Testing Library - Knowledge of algorithms, computational complexity, and RESTful APIs - Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment - Self-motivated, excited about working on interesting technology, and enthusiastic about leading teams to deliver impactful software If you are someone with a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for building high-quality software, this opportunity at Vena Solutions could be the perfect fit for you.,
