As the Lead of Food and Products at Sploot, you will play a crucial role in spearheading the growth initiatives for our innovative pet care offerings. Your expertise in building systems and processes from scratch in a 0-1 startup environment will drive immediate revenue impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Manufacturing & Production:** Oversee production processes to ensure product quality and cost-efficiency. - **Packaging:** Manage packaging development and optimization to enhance cost, visual appeal, and customer experience. - **Warehousing & Logistics:** Supervise in-house warehousing operations for efficient inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment. - **Product Launches (Sploot Brand):** Identify new product opportunities, manage development, and execute launches. - **Product Launches (Sploot Marketplace):** Onboard new brands for the marketplace, curating a high-performing product portfolio. - **Revenue Growth:** Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive sales and achieve revenue targets. - **Collaboration & Leadership:** Build and lead a dynamic team to execute effectively across all functions. **Key KPIs:** - Revenue growth from food and product sales - Cost optimization in manufacturing, packaging, and logistics - Successful product launches with strong sell-through rates - Reduction in inventory holding costs and improved fulfillment speed - Increased customer retention and repeat purchase rates **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Startup Experience:** Proven track record in 0-1 startup environments, preferably in consumer products, FMCG, or D2C brands. - **Operational Expertise:** Experience in managing manufacturing, production, and supply chain processes. - **Revenue Focus:** Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams to drive measurable revenue growth. - **Problem Solver:** Strong analytical skills and a solutions-first mindset for on-ground challenges. - **Team Builder:** Experience in building and leading fast-moving, scrappy teams. - **Execution-Oriented:** Comfortable with making decisions based on imperfect data and driving fast results. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 5+ years of experience in operations, product development, or growth-focused roles. - Experience in the pet care industry or consumer goods is advantageous. - Strong project management and leadership skills.
