Lead Engineer-Process

Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will be responsible for project delivery, design management, and project management, collaborating with various teams to create opportunities for planning, developing, delivering, and operating a range of projects. Your role will involve reviewing and checking effort-hours estimation, leading technical and safety reviews, monitoring status of process engineering deliverables, and participating in technical discussions with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Review and check the effort-hours estimation, process deliverables for proposal preparation - Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed engineering - Review and check process design deliverables - Ensure clear definition of interfaces between disciplines - Capture all inputs required for process design accurately - Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders to develop process schemes and configurations - Lead technical and safety reviews such as HAZOP/SIL - Monitor the status of process engineering deliverables to meet schedule due dates - Ensure technical quality of all process deliverables issued - Plan pre-commissioning and commissioning, startup activities - Experience in utility system process design including Instrument Air, Boiler, Fuel Gas, DI Water, Cooling Tower, HVAC, Chilled Water, Low Temperature Refrigeration, Hot Oil System, Wastewater Treatment, Chemical Storage and Delivery Systems, Chemical Dosing Systems Qualifications Required: - BE Chemical with 12-18 years of experience in Design Engineering - Experience in a design consulting organization working on Industrial Projects - Good understanding of facility design and/or operation - Experience in sectors such as Specialty Gases, Specialty Chemicals, Semiconductor, Solar Photovoltaic, Electric Battery, Pharmaceuticals Additional Company Details (If present): Jacobs is committed to driving a culture of caring where employees can be themselves.
