Lead Design Power Transformers

As a Design Lead at Mahati Industries, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement innovative design strategies that align with business objectives, enhance brand identity, and drive user engagement. With 10-20 years of experience in electrical design of transformers, you will have a proven track record of successfully executing design strategies. Your familiarity with design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles will be crucial in this role. Located in Yawat OR Swargate (Pune), you will hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. Your key responsibilities will include developing and communicating the overall design vision and strategy for Mahati Industries, overseeing all design projects to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with brand guidelines and business goals, as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate design thinking into the product development process. You will be expected to establish and maintain design standards, processes, and best practices, conduct user research to inform design decisions, stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies, manage design budgets and resources effectively, and present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders at various levels. Key competencies required for this role include strategic thinking to develop long-term design strategies, design leadership to inspire and guide a design team, excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts effectively, collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, problem-solving skills to address design challenges, innovation and creativity to explore new solutions, user-centricity to understand user needs and translate them into effective design solutions, and technical proficiency in design tools and technologies related to transformers. Your experience in design and analytical skills of transformers, including large furnace transformers and Locomotive 2 phase transformers, will be essential. Additionally, your analytical capabilities for estimating losses, forces, stray and Eddy losses, along with experience in using design simulation software like VIT, Comsol, and Ansys will be considered advantageous in this role.,
