Lead Design Engineer

As a Lead Design Engineer at Hartek Group, you will be responsible for leading design engineering projects, developing product designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers. Your role will involve overseeing the technical aspects of electrical and mechanical engineering projects to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality designs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare Tender specifications, data sheets, and material requisites (MRs) - Conduct Technical bid evaluation (TBE) and design basis reports (DBR) - Create Single Line Diagrams, Schematic diagrams, schedules I/O List, and logics for EHV/MV/ LV system - Perform Substation Engineering tasks such as conductor sizing, sag tension analysis, and protection philosophy - Conduct sizing calculations for electrical equipment and components - Carry out system studies calculations using ETAP software and manual calculations - Review Layouts and engineering drawings including Substation General Arrangement and equipment layout - Prepare cable/Distribution Board schedules and inter panel wirings - Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to maintain quality standards - Conduct kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and technical meetings - Facilitate team development - Manage Lesson Learned database **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in Design Engineering and Layout Design - Electrical Engineering skills - Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) - Strong problem-solving and project management skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - Experience in the power sector or renewable energy projects is a plus - Ability to work on-site in Gurugram/Mohali Founded in 1991, Hartek Group is a leading Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) company in the power sector.
