Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with SME to comprehend business objectives and requirements
• Understand the existing data model, the data, future needs and come up with the correct future data model
• Extract and document business logic from the existing stored Procedures/Functions/Scripts. Etc.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, and data sets necessary for managing policies, processing claims, managing risks, billing, and other applications.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies.
• Ensure the systems deliver the required functionality and focus on a reduction of defects.
• Coaching and developing the application development team on how to become great technologists who can lead with confidence, clarity, accountability, and precision.
• Ensure the application development team takes an active role in advancing agile/scrum maturity and team education and course correct as needed.

Experience

• 8+ years of relevant experience is necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in any technical field
• Experience in data modelling, including knowledge of various data structures, their advantages and disadvantages in certain use cases
• Strong experience with MS SQL, Stored Procedures, DB Scripts, Complex Queries
• MS SQL, MySQL, Azure, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Data Factory experience
• Hands-on experience in SQL Server, Integration Services and strong SQL skills
• Expertise in relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, and data warehouse; advanced programming skills
• Capability to think critically and solve problems
