Lead Content Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a content strategy aligned with the business priorities: SEO-optimized blogs, newsletters, case studies, and long-form guides to drive organic traffic and pipeline.
• Produce high-quality content across channels: Write/edit 2-4 pieces weekly, including founder ghost-writing, video scripts, and social hooks (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube Shorts).
• Optimize for growth: Use tools like Google Analytics to research keywords, track performance, and A/B test headlines/CTAs.
• Build and grow audiences: Launch a newsletter (aiming for 5K+ subs in Year 1), manage social calendars, and experiment with repurposing (e.g., blog thread podcast clip).
• Collaborate with sales/product teams to create customer-facing assets like ebooks, webinars, and demo flows that shorten sales cycles.
• Collaborate (Storyboarding) with external agency to create marketing videos/ Product Launch Videos etc (may bring the job in-house at scale)
• Analyze and report: Weekly dashboards on metrics like traffic, engagement, MQLs, and ROI to refine tactics and inform company storytelling.
• Stay ahead of trends: Monitor competitors, test emerging formats (e.g., Reels, AI tools for efficiency), and integrate with PR/fundraising efforts.

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years in content marketing, growth, or digital media, with 2+ years in startups/tech (seed/early-stage a huge plus).
• Proven results: Portfolio showing 10x traffic growth, viral posts (100K+ views), or campaigns generating SQLs (e.g., case studies with metrics).
• Stellar writer with SEO chops: Can craft B2B content that ranks and converts, from technical deep-dives to punchy threads.
• Data-oriented hustler: Thrives in ambiguity, tools like Notion, Google Workspace, Canva/Figma, and email platforms (Substack, Mailchimp).
• Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
• Bonus: Video editing skills (CapCut, Descript) or community experience (Discord, Reddit).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience scaling newsletters or podcasts in tech.
• Familiarity with paid amplification (LinkedIn Ads, small budgets).
• Multilingual content for global audiences.
