Lead Consultant, Instructional Design

Role Overview: You will be joining the thriving Icertis Academy team, dedicated to benefiting partners, customers, employees, and enthusiasts through a digital learning curriculum for functional, technical, and sales enablement training. Your role will involve analyzing learning needs, developing learning strategies, and creating engaging content aligned with business requirements in a global learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify business needs and propose learning solutions that best fit requirements while building trusted consulting relationships. - Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and implementation teams to design storyboards aligned with learning objectives. - Lead instructional design projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, collaborating with internal teams and vendors, and managing stakeholder expectations. - Define instructional flow and content structure to meet organizational goals. - Evaluate existing training programs and make recommendations for improvement to align with business objectives and learner needs. - Create engaging and relevant content by configuring, creating, and assembling new or existing content along with graphics for target personas. - Plan, design, develop, and manage content for various media formats. - Convert use cases and examples into stories and scenarios to explain concepts to learners effectively. - Develop scenario-based assessments, knowledge check questions, and design learner interactions. - Utilize Generative AI tools for audio/video generation and create/edit audio/video elements for quick video courses. - Contribute to design templates, guidelines, and best practices to enhance the quality and adoption of training courses. - Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and eLearning. Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters in any subject/Diploma in Instructional Design or MA in Learning Sciences. - Professional certifications in instructional design, eLearning, or related fields are a plus. - 9-12 years of experience in instructional design, learning delivery, and instructional technology. - 5+ years of expertise in executing successful corporate learning programs and strong knowledge of eLearning tools and technologies. - Portfolio showcasing various learning solutions, including video-based learning, eLearning courses, performance support material, and blended learning experiences. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and expertise in storyboarding, instructional text, scenarios, assessment questions, and audio/video scripts. - Specialization in at least one niche area of learning design/technology/experience/visual design. - Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools like Camtasia, Storyline, Captivate, or similar tools. - Experience working with global teams, cultures, and industries, with a self-starter attitude, ability to work independently, establish priorities, and be a strong team player. ,
