Lead Automation Engineer

As a Lead Automation Engineer at Addverb, one of Uplers" Clients, you will play a crucial role in handling end-to-end control design, engaging in technical discussions with customers and vendors, managing multiple projects concurrently, and ensuring standardization of designs while introducing and implementing new technologies. Your expertise in PLC, Control System Engineering, and Siemens Electrical Design Automation will be essential for this role. You will be responsible for estimating design schedules, preparing System BOM and BOQ, creating system documentation including Control Philosophy and IO List, and identifying power/control cable routing and tray layout. Your industrial electrical installation and commissioning experience, along with troubleshooting skills in various systems, will be highly valued. Collaborating effectively with the Controls Team, you will lead the implementation of design initiatives and identify and introduce new controls technologies and techniques. Your ability to handle multiple projects, ensure timely delivery of project deliverables, and evaluate the feasibility of technical solutions will be key to success in this role. In addition to technical skills, your behavioral competencies such as team handling, communication, time management, and stakeholder management will be crucial for effectively managing projects and leading your team. Your experience in systems integration, safety design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and advanced automation controls systems will be advantageous. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Tech degree in Electrical or Instrumentation with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar capacity. Critical thinking skills, the ability to handle challenging situations, and train the team will be essential for success in this dynamic role.
