Description
As a candidate for the position, your responsibilities will include: - Planning, executing, directing, and completing business / financial audits for client audit engagements. - Demonstrating good knowledge of business and operational processes related to banking and capital markets. - Reviewing processes such as desk reviews, trade booking, middle-office & back-office processes. - Having experience in Banking operations focusing on Corporate & Investment Banking, Trade Services, and Securities Business. - Possessing knowledge about various regulations impacting capital markets such as DFA, EMIR, etc. - Understanding principles of risk management and internal control systems, including IT controls. - Managing clients, researching and gathering information, resolving problems, and making recommendations for business and process improvements. - Ensuring well-documented audit conclusions and communicating assigned tasks clearly and concisely to the engagement team. - Focusing on professional growth, taking on challenging assignments, and participating in quality initiatives within the audit function. - Keeping updated on new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, and contributing to professional organizations. - Participating in annual risk assessment and audit planning, working on Integrated audits, monitoring audit recommendations, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory norms applicable to banking business. Profile Required: - Executing all audits in accordance with professional standards. - Assisting audit management in preparing and executing the audit plan. - Preparing audit work programs, understanding specific risks, and evaluating internal controls. - Reviewing major financial and operational processes, testing the effectiveness of the internal control environment. - Maintaining clear work papers and audit trails, writing formal reports, and making recommendations for process improvements. - Issuing audit reports in a timely manner, following up on recommendations, and acquiring knowledge through assignments and trainings.
