Lead/ Assistant Manager - RTR

• 5-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience with lease accounting under ASC 842/IFRS 16.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with lease accounting tools
• Strong Excel skills for modeling and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Manage daily RTR activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and submitted within timelines.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to the RTR team, ensuring clear communication of goals and deadlines.
• Assist in the resolution of complex accounting issues and provide support for senior management decision-making.
• Review and ensure the proper accounting of all transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial reports for management, ensuring all key metrics are reported accurately.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and external regulatory requirements.
• Work with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation and resolve issues.
• Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements in RTR workflows and systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to automate manual processes and enhance financial system functionality.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and recommend solutions to senior leadership.
• Help with the training of junior accountants in RTR processes, ensuring they are aligned with best practices.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring team members are trained accordingly.
