Role Overview: Heads Up For Tails is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a technical leader in the position of System Architect. As a System Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing system architecture and best practices across multiple product and platform teams. Your responsibilities will include mentoring engineers, identifying architectural debt, promoting structured decision-making frameworks, fostering a culture of operational excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align the technology stack with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement system architecture and best practices across multiple product and platform teams - Mentor engineers and promote structured decision-making frameworks - Foster a culture of operational excellence through observability and automation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the technology stack aligns with business objectives - Drive the technical roadmap with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Build foundational software that supports both product and platform teams - Manage flutter-based applications and have prior experience with ERP software - Utilize skills in Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, GCP, and AWS - Demonstrate a deep understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL systems Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, preferably in e-commerce - Hands-on experience in system architecture and best practices - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Prior experience with ERP software such as Odoo, ERPNext, or similar platforms - Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, GCP, and AWS - Experience in managing flutter-based applications - Deep understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL systems Additional Details: Heads Up For Tails is a leading brand in the pet care industry in India, with a focus on improving the lives of pets and their companions.
