Role Overview

Lead Designer

Key Responsibilities

1.

• Lead the end-to-end design process from initial client briefing to final handover.
• Conduct and document client briefing sessions, translating client needs into actionable design direction.
• Create and present design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and material palettes that align with CASA Exotique’s luxury ethos.
• Guide the preparation of all technical drawings, working drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and GFCs (Good for Construction drawings).
• Prepare detailed procurement documents including item specifications, quantities, finish details, and vendor references to support the purchasing process.

2. Project Execution & Coordination

• Work closely with the 3D visualization team to ensure that renders accurately represent approved design intent.
• Collaborate with procurement, project management, and site teams to ensure timely and quality execution.
• Review and approve all design-related documents and drawings before they are issued to the client or execution team.

3. Team Management & Mentorship

• Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team, including senior designers, interior designers, and interns/juniors.
• Provide design reviews, feedback, and developmental guidance to ensure high-quality output across the board.
• Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence within the design team.

4. Brand Representation

• Uphold and champion CASA Exotique’s luxury design language in every client interaction and presentation.
• Represent the brand at client meetings, industry events, and design forums as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design.
• Strong portfolio of luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
• Expertise in space planning, concept development, and material selection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with 3D rendering tools.
• Deep understanding of luxury finishes, FF&E, lighting, and bespoke detailing.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
