Deionized Water (DI Water)

Position : Department Lead

Role & responsibilities

Operational Management:

• Oversee planning, installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of DI Water, ETP, and STP systems.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Optimize system performance, uptime, and process efficiency through monitoring and intervention.

Team

• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance guidance to team members.
• Foster a proactive, quality-driven, and safety-conscious culture.

Performance Monitoring

• Establish and monitor performance KPIs for water system efficiency, reliability, and cost.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely execution as per project milestones and utility readiness plans.

Project

• Manage end-to-end project execution from basic engineering through commissioning.
• Interface with design consultants, OEMs, and EPC vendors to finalize technical solutions.
• Track project progress against plan, manage risks, control costs, and escalate issues proactively.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (process, utility, EHS, quality, operations) and external stakeholders (vendors, consultants, statutory bodies).
• Provide technical updates and progress reports to project leadership and senior management.
• Ensure alignment between user requirements, vendor deliverables, and project objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-15 years

  of experience in managing installation and operations of utility water systems (DI Water / RO / DM / UF), ETP, and STP in industrial, semiconductor, solar, pharmaceutical, or large infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience in vendor coordination, commissioning, and compliance audits.
• Experience in managing contractors and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Bachelors degree in mechanical / chemical / environmental engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)
