Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Law Clerk located in Delhi, India. The Law Clerk will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, drafting legal memorandums, and supporting attorneys in various legal proceedings. The role also includes assisting with case briefings, maintaining case files, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth case management.

Qualifications

* Maintaining accurate records of court proceedings, including minutes, orders, and other documents.

* Preparing and distributing court documents and files, such as warrants, summonses, and judgments.

* Scheduling court hearings, trials, and other proceedings.

* Collecting and processing court fees, maintaining court accounts, preparing budgets, and excellent knowledge of e-filings.

* Assisting lawyers, attorneys, and other court staff with various administrative tasks.

* Swearing in witnesses, announcing the opening of court sessions, and ensuring the courtroom is prepared for proceedings.

* While specific educational requirements vary, a high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, and an associate's or bachelor's degree may be preferred.

* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication (written and verbal), and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs are essential.

* Ability to maintain records accurately, handle money transactions, and work independently and as part of a team are also important.
