Job Description

Responsibilities

Mallcom India seeking Lasting Supervisor who will be responsible for daily lasting operations for closed and safety shoes, ensuring proper fit, shape, and quality. The role leads operators, reduces defects, maintains machines, and aligns production with safety and technical standards.

Supervise daily lasting operations for closed shoes and safety shoes.
Ensure proper toe lasting, side lasting, heel lasting & seat lasting with correct shape and fitting.
Inspect uppers, toe caps, counters, and pre-lasting materials for quality before lasting.
Lead and train lasting operators & helpers, driving continuous improvement in techniques.
Identify and reduce defects such as wrinkles, misalignment, poor heel seat, or loose grains.
Coordinate lasting schedules with production targets to ensure timely output.
Maintain lasting machines and ensure correct settings for different styles and sizes.
Ensure compliance with safety shoe technical standards and maintain an organized work area.

Key Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in footwear lasting operations (safety shoes preferred).
Strong understanding of lasting techniques, toe caps, counters & upper behavior.
Proven ability to manage a team and meet production deadlines.
Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety shoe standards (EN ISO 20345, ISI) is an added advantage.
