Laser Machine operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting, engraving, or marking machines to produce parts and products according to precise specifications. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate laser machines in accordance with work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Select appropriate materials, set parameters (speed, power, etc.), and monitor machine performance for optimal output.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and completeness; ensure all parts meet quality standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machinery and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain organized records of production outputs, materials used, and any equipment issues.
• Adhere to company safety policies and practices at all times.
• Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Continuously improve processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency or quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Previous experience operating laser cutting or engraving machines (CO2, fiber, or similar) is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with machine interfaces/software.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift materials (up to Several kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
