About The Role
We are seeking a talented Language Lead with a passion for creating long form high engagement audio contents to join our team. As a language lead, you will be responsible for conceptualising long form audio stories that have an endless nature of consumption, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and cultural appropriateness of content produced by the content team. Your role will involve overseeing a team of content creators, writers/authors, voice artists and translators, managing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and relevant content that captivates the interests of our listeners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify story plots, genres, creative concepts, script planning and dialogues to deliver long form audio stories that can generate endless content consumption behaviour for mass audiences.
- Develop and pitch ideas for new audio stories, and collaborate with Creative Producers to refine ideas.
- Localisation of stories adopted from acquired IPs based on regional content consumption behaviour.
- Conduct in-depth research on topics to ensure accuracy and create a compelling storyline.
- Ensure the accuracy, grammar, and fluency of all Telugu content produced by the Team
- Manage the production process, including recording sessions, editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Collaborate with writers, voice actors, musicians, and other creative professionals to ensure the highest quality audio production.
- Work with our marketing team to develop promotional materials and social media content to promote each show.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, communications, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience producing audio content, including audio stories, podcasts, radio shows, or web series.
- Proven experience in producing fiction content preferably in the Love/Romance genre.
- Strong research skills and ability to synthesize complex information into a compelling story.
- Proficiency in audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Telugu and English language.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
