Labour Welfare Officer

As a Welfare Officer with experience in Labor Welfare within the Manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of employees in a garment industry. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around employee welfare, compliance with labor laws, health and safety, as well as grievance handling. You will be responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of employees by providing necessary support and resources. It will be your duty to verify and ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, thereby upholding compliance within the organization. Implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs will also fall under your purview to create a safe working environment for all employees. Additionally, you will be tasked with addressing employee complaints, concerns, and grievances in a fair and timely manner. In addition to these primary responsibilities, you will also engage in secondary tasks such as organizing events, activities, and programs to boost employee morale and engagement. Collaborating with the HR department, you will provide training on welfare-related topics like stress management and work-life balance. Acting as a liaison between management and employees, transparent communication will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, maintaining accurate records of employee welfare-related data, including grievances, accidents, and training programs, and working closely with HR to align welfare initiatives with company policies and objectives will be essential. This is a full-time position requiring a Master's degree, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor Welfare Officer. The work location is in person, and the job follows a day shift schedule.,
