Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welfare Activities:
o Develop and implement welfare programs for workers, ensuring their well-being.o Organize and facilitate activities like health check-ups, recreational activities, and educational programs.o Address grievances related to health, safety, and welfare of workers and take appropriate actions.

2. Compliance and Legal Obligations:
o Ensure the organization complies with all relevant labour laws and regulations.o Maintain records as required under labour laws and ensure timely submission of returns.o Liaise with government authorities and inspectors for compliance-related matters.

3. Employee Relations:
o Act as a bridge between management and workers, fostering a positive work environment.o Counsel employees on work-related issues, personal issues, and grievance handling.o Promote a healthy and safe working environment by conducting regular inspections and audits.

4. Training and Development:
o Identify training needs and organize training programs for workers on topics such as safety, hygiene, and productivity.o Collaborate with HR to design and deliver training sessions on labour laws, employee rights, and welfare activities.

5. Safety and Health:C:C
o Oversee workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.o Work closely with the safety team to reduce workplace accidents and implement preventive measures.o Conduct investigations in case of workplace accidents and recommend corrective actions.

6. Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare regular reports on welfare activities, compliance, and any incidents.o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employees welfare and safety measures.

In-depth knowledge of labour laws and welfare schemes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to worker welfare.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Education

Bachelors/Masters degree in Social Work, Human Resources, or related field.

Certification or diploma in Labour Laws is a plus. and MSW is also must
