Label Designer

Key Responsibilities - Conceptualize, design, and finalize product labels and packaging that effectively communicate the brand identity, product information, and compliance requirements. - Design print-ready artworks with correct dielines, bleed settings, resolution, and color modes (CMYK/Pantone). - Create labels specifically for nutraceutical, ayurvedic, beauty, and healthcare products, ensuring alignment with the brand’s visual tone and regulatory guidelines. - Collaborate with marketing, product, and packaging teams to ensure the design supports product positioning and enhances shelf appeal. - Ensure accuracy in all textual elements such as ingredient lists, barcodes, legal disclaimers, and nutritional panels. - Coordinate with printing vendors to ensure color consistency, finish quality, and correct technical specifications. - Maintain and evolve the visual identity across various product lines and packaging types. - Stay updated with industry trends, materials, printing innovations, and packaging design styles relevant to the healthcare and wellness sectors. Required Skills and Competencies -  Software Expertise: - Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator (mandatory). - Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop will be an added advantage. Design Skills: - Strong grasp of typography, color theory, and layout composition. - Ability to create designs that balance visual appeal with functional clarity and compliance. Technical Knowledge: - Understanding of printing processes (digital, offset, flexo) and packaging materials (labels, boxes, jars, bottles). - Awareness of CMYK vs. Pantone color handling, embossing, foiling, lamination, and other print finishing techniques. Creative Aptitude: - Ability to translate brand concepts into visually distinctive, market-appropriate packaging. Detail-Oriented: - Ensures high accuracy in every aspect of design — alignment, spacing, and content integrity. Qualifications- - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. - Minimum 1 year of experience in label or packaging design, preferably for nutraceutical, ayurvedic, beauty, or healthcare brands. - A portfolio demonstrating previous label design work across the mentioned categories (mandatory for consideration).
