Job Title - Lab Technician - Hotel & Tourism management

Job Location - Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Description

  • Prepare food, beverages, and lab supplies.
  • Set up lab stations with ingredients and equipment.
  • Manage inventory: receive, label, store, and reorder supplies.
  • Support teaching staff during classes and demonstrations.
  • Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking techniques.
  • Ensure sanitation and safety in labs and storage areas.
  • Clean and organize lab spaces and equipment.
  • Maintain records of inventory and student performance.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife handling, and food safety practices.

Education/Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or Catering Management.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a Food service establishment.
  • Experience in a university or college lab is an advantage.
