Job Description

The Lab Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring it is well-maintained, organized, and equipped to facilitate smooth academic and research activities. Key responsibilities include preparing and setting up equipment and materials for experiments, assisting faculty and students during practical sessions, and ensuring the safe handling and storage of lab instruments and chemicals. The Lab Assistant will also monitor inventory levels, procure necessary supplies, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Additionally, they will maintain accurate records of equipment usage, support troubleshooting of technical issues, and ensure the overall cleanliness and functionality of the lab environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace are essential for this role.
