Role Overview:

Lab Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize the computer lab and its equipment.

• Assist students with technical issues and software/hardware troubleshooting.

• Install, configure, and update software and systems as required.

• Ensure proper functioning of computers, printers, projectors, and other lab equipment.

• Monitor student activities in the lab and provide guidance when necessary.

• Maintain lab inventory and report any damages or requirements.

• Ensure compliance with lab safety and usage guidelines.

• Assist faculty during lab sessions and practical demonstrations.

• Prepare reports on lab usage, maintenance, and student attendance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Computer Lab Assistant

• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking basics.

• Proficiency in MS Office and commonly used educational software.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to assist students and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

• Basic knowledge of computer security and maintenance best practices.
