L2/L3 Switch QA Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Good manual testing skills and experience with standard s/w testing processes Develop/execute/maintain the test suites along with manual testing to certify a s/w release sane Follow the QA high level test strategy and publishes test reports to all the stakeholders Prepares test setups to replicate field issues in our lab and raises product defects Excellent troubleshooting skills Good hands-on with multiple Linux flavours Hands on experience in testing L2/L3 protocols and networking features like AAA, 802.1x, MSTP,RSTP,LAG, LACP etc for large network deployment. Any experience in Cisco/Juniper L2/L3 testing is a plus. Strong experience in testing 802.3 standards TCP/IP suite and network protocols like TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing etc. Good team player and self-motivated individual who owns the problem and takes it to its logical conclusion. Aligns to customer needs and project timelines Product validation and POC as per customer requirements Prepare test cases and setup based on customer specific solution. Good knowledge of Wired.
