Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Level 2 SOC Analyst

to join our

5G Security Operations Center (SOC)

team. The L2 Analyst will be responsible for

advanced investigation, incident response, and threat mitigation

to ensure the continued

integrity, availability, and security of 5G RAN and Core networks

. The role requires deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with modern SOC tools and 5G technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis and investigation of security incidents escalated by L1 SOC Analysts.
  • Perform root cause analysis and threat containment to minimize the impact of security breaches.
  • Utilize SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, and forensic tools to detect, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats.
  • Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely remediation and recovery of affected systems.
  • Develop and refine incident response playbooks and threat-handling procedures tailored for 5G networks.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to L1 SOC Analysts to enhance team capability.
  • Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and application teams to implement preventive and corrective controls.
  • Maintain and enhance 5G SOC operations lab environments for continuous testing and validation.
  • Document incident findings, actions taken, and lessons learned for management and audit purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the 4G/5G ecosystem.
  • Ensure end-to-end security and resilience of 5G RAN and Core network components.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or cybersecurity incident response.
    • Proven experience in 4G/5G Security Operations and working with ISPs or telecom environments.
    • Strong exposure to Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and similar SIEM/SOAR tools.
    • Experience working across IT and OT security domains.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, network security protocols, and architectures.
    • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, malware analysis, and digital forensics.
    • Familiarity with 4G/5G RAN and Core network protocols and their associated security threats.
    • Proficiency with incident response tools, forensic suites, and security monitoring platforms.
    • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond swiftly to critical incidents.
