What You'll Do

  • Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Perform break-fix support, system upgrades, and component replacements.
  • Read and interpret error codes, run diagnostics, and resolve faults using approved tools and procedures.
  • Handle application support for the organization’s standard software suite and operating systems (primarily Windows).
  • Support user account management, device configurations, and access-related issues.
  • Maintain and manage IT inventory; ensure stock accuracy through regular audits and reporting.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly IT asset and activity reports.
  • Collaborate with L1 support and escalate issues to L3 or vendor support when needed.
  • Document all support activities in the IT ticketing system with clarity and completeness.
  • Assist in on-site support activities, including office moves and setup of IT equipment.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, desktop hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, imaging software, and remote support platforms.
  • Good understanding of inventory management practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in staggered shifts and travel to multiple sites if required.
