L1/L2 Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development & Enhancement

• Design, build, test, and support web applications on platforms such as

  React.js

  with backend integration.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, queries, and procedures to support application functionality.

• Application Support & Maintenance

• Monitor and provide

  L1/L2 support

  for custom-built applications.
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and resolve tickets within agreed

  SLA timelines

• Provide bug fixes, minor enhancements, and performance tuning as required.
• Escalate unresolved incidents or complex issues to L3 / engineering teams with proper documentation.

• Operations & Monitoring

• Use monitoring tools to ensure application uptime, stability, and performance.
• Perform log analysis and support regular application health checks

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum

  3+ years of professional experience

  in application development and support.
• Strong proficiency in:

• Frontend:

  React.js (components, state management, APIs).

• Backend/Database:

  Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, performance tuning).
• Exposure with

  DevOps tools

  such as Bitbucket (code versioning) and Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines).
• Good understanding of

  application lifecycle management (SDLC)

  , defect tracking, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of

  ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)

  for incident and change management.
• Familiarity with

  agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  .
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in

  shifts / on-call rotation

  for production support (if required).
