Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically capable Level 1 Support Engineer to join our team. You will be the first line of defence in ensuring smooth application operations, resolving technical issues, and coordinating effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. This role demands strong technical troubleshooting skills, particularly in cloud-based web applications . Key Responsibilities: Monitor and triage incoming incidents, alerts, and tickets from various monitoring and support systems (e.g., CloudWatch, New Relic, Zendesk). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: PHP applications and frameworks Database systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL via RDS) AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Step Functions, Batch Jobs) Linux-based servers (Ubuntu/CentOS) FTP/SFTP-based file transfers Work with APIs, tokens, and logs. Provide basic support for API integrations. Clearly document issues, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders during incidents. Required Skills and Experience: 3 Years of experience with AWS, PHP, API Integrations and Cloud Watch. Hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel debugging. Proficiency in Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS). Experience with AWS services. Experience using monitoring tools (CloudWatch, New Relic) Knowledge of RESTful APIs and common mobile backend integration issues Experience with support ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Service Now) Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong written and verbal communication. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Basic scripting (Bash or Python) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
