Role Overview:

L1 Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure
Provide first-level support for cloud-related incidents and service requests
Collaborate with DevOps and automation teams (optional)
Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, systems, and incidents
Assist in managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and GitOps

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of Linux/Windows system administration
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM Templates
Basic knowledge of networking: VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer are a plus
