Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and lead a team of kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality food in a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI or HACCP if applicable).
• Manage kitchen inventory, place orders, and control food costs.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and hygiene practices.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and kitchen safety protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service.
• Handle staff scheduling, attendance, and shift management.
• Monitor portion control, waste reduction, and efficient use of raw materials.
• Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with the chef/management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred).
• Proven experience as a kitchen supervisor, sous chef, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
